Procedures Consult Help System
The Full Details of a procedure gives you full information on how and why the procedure is being done. All the images are included on the right. The Full Details view features comparable functionality to the Quick Review view. Full Details is the most comprehensive view of content including more text and more illustrations than Quick. Also the reference links are active in Full-Details. Just click a superscript in Full Details and you move to the reference section. Just click the "Return to Text" link to return. However, both Full Details and Quick Review contain access to both the small and large video player.
When you select the Full-Details tab, PC displays the full details version
of the content view from the open procedure. From Full Details, you can
mouse-over the three buttons for your selection: Pre-Procedure, Procedure
and Post-Procedure.

Jumps to Pre-Procedure, Procedure, Post-Procedure sections or to sub-sections.
Displays at the bottom of the content the most current date available from either the date that the content on the page was last reviewed or updated
Opens the larger size illustrations from within the content in a pop-up window
Runs the small video player with a link to the larger video player with closed captioning
Opens the larger size illustrations from within the content or smaller illustrations in a pop-up window
Opens View Codes to display the CPT and ICD9 billing codes
Access to the test for the procedure
Access to My Test History and My Assignments
Active links to the Reference section. Just click a superscript in Full Details and you move to the reference section. Just click the "Return to Text" link to return.
TIPS: Click on “Hide” to hide the left frame and expose more content in the right frame. Then click Show Video Columns to reopen the left frame.
NOTE: You can return to the home page by selecting the Procedures CONSULT logo in the upper left.
